You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship officials gathered at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 16, where they held open tryouts for an upcoming reality show that aims to find future talent in the sport.

“We were hoping to find some good talent and personalities to comfort in BKFC and be a part of the reality show,” Bare Knuckle FC President David Feldman said. “We found what we were looking for and I am very pleased with the turnout, the talent, and the whole day as a whole.”

Nearly 70 competitors worked out in front of former two-division world champion boxer and boxing commentator Paulie Malignaggi and UFC stars Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Chris Lytle. Malignaggi recently signed an exclusive deal to compete for BKFC and is expected to make his debut in June 2019 at a location yet to be determined.

The competitors were asked to demonstrate their shadow boxing and bag work. They were also interviewed by a panel of team members and graded on how hard they could hit the punch meter.

Details about the pending show will be released in the coming weekends. Stay tuned.

  1. Travis is one of the best dudes I have ever met. Genuine hearted through and through. Only thing dude is guilty of is caring too much. Smh go get your attention elsewhere. #hatersneverwin #nothingtosomethingsquad

  2. Notice no one defended him when saying saying that he beat up his last two girlfriends? Woman beater who has a drinking problem! That’s why he stopped fighting mma. He lost and went straight to the bottle. Also, are convicted felons really someone you want on your show?

  3. This is Travis’s ex and mother of his child. I do not know who wrote this comment and I can’t say there’s not truth to it. To call me bitter is hilarious though. So Jackayy I hope he never locks you in the bedroom while your daughter bangs on the door because her mom is screaming while Travis is beating you underneath covers. I get that you are 22 and think Travis is the best thing and maybe he will be for you. But do not ever call me bitter when I am taking care of his son by myself. I honestly hope he makes it big because he owes me 1000 for that Caddy he’s driving and I have never gotten ANY child support so please make him famous cause I’m taking half that check hunny 😘

  4. He also smokes weed and did other drugs while he was staying at my house after getting kicked out of his. He owes me money, and that little bitch knows it. You want to know who I am? I am your worst fucking nightmare. Meet me at the Pour House Friday night and we can settle this once and for all.

  5. I would love to know who this is especially since Travis and his lil girl want to accuse me on social media of being this msmith person. Now that he knows it’s not he is still refusing to apologize for the accusation. Shocking! But whoever you are should know he’s been banned from the pour house for life after he started shit with a bouncer and a cook there. They beat his ass and he was drunk he didn’t even realize how bad it was. He woke me up at 4 am crying not knowing why his face hurt and I had to take him to the ER to have his bottom lip stitched because his teeth went through it. So maybe pick another place to reveal yourself. Also welcome to the club of people he owes money too.
